Privacy policy

This site collects very little. This page says exactly what, why, for how long, and how to have it deleted.

Page to be approved before going live. The items highlighted in orange still need completing, and the regulatory references cited must be checked by your counsel: they depend on the country where the company is established and they change. This English version is a courtesy translation; the French text is the one that governs. Remove this banner once the review is done.

1. Who processes your data

The data controller is INSIGHT SMART TECHNOLOGIES — exact registered name, whose registered office is at full address.

2. What we collect

This site collects data in two cases only.

a. When you fill in a form

Contact form or demonstration request. The information sent is:

Full name, and the organisation if you provide one
Email address, and phone number if you provide one
The subject of your enquiry and the message you write
The date and time of sending

Only the name, the email address and the message are required. Everything else is optional and serves only to prepare the conversation.

b. Technical server logs

Like any web server, the one hosting this site automatically records the IP address, the date, the page requested and the browser type. These logs are produced by the hosting provider for security and diagnostic purposes; we do not use them for anything else.

Do not send us sensitive data through this form. Trial balances, general ledgers, identity documents, bank details: wait until we open a secure drop for you. A written description is enough for a first conversation.

3. Why

To answer your enquiry: To get back to you, prepare a meeting or a demonstration, draw up a proposal. The processing rests on your own voluntary approach.
To keep the site working properly: To detect automated submissions, diagnose a fault, and keep a record of a request should the mail system fail. The processing rests on our legitimate interest in running the service.

We carry out no profiling, no automated decision-making, no targeted advertising, and we build no prospecting database from this site.

4. For how long

Enquiries with no commercial follow-up: 12 months from the last exchange, then deletion.
Enquiries that led to a contractual relationship: The duration of the relationship, then retention under the applicable legal and accounting obligations.
Speculative job applications: 24 months, unless you ask for deletion sooner.
Technical server logs: Per the hosting provider's policy, usually 6 to 12 months.

5. Who has access

Your data is accessible only to the people at Insight Smart Technologies handling your enquiry.

It is never sold, rented or exchanged. It is passed to no commercial partner, and is never used to train an artificial intelligence model.

Only one processor is technically involved: the site's hosting provider, name of the hosting provider, which stores the files and routes the emails. It acts on our instructions and is not authorised to use this data on its own account.

6. Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies. No session cookie, no advertising cookie, no tracker.

It uses no analytics tool — no Google Analytics, no social network pixel, no tag manager. That is why you see no consent banner on arrival: there is nothing to consent to.

The only information kept locally by your browser is what it manages on its own: the cache of pages and images.

7. Third-party services

For transparency: rendering the pages calls on a single outside service, Google Fonts, which supplies the site's two typefaces. That request passes your browser's IP address and the page requested to Google.

No other outside call is made: no interactive map, no embedded video, no share button connected to a social network.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS; traffic is encrypted in transit.
Enquiries received are kept in a directory that cannot be reached from the web.
Form fields are validated before processing.
Access to the messages received is limited to the people concerned.

No measure guarantees absolute security. In the event of a data breach likely to create a risk to your rights, we would inform you and make the required notifications.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to and restrict the processing of your data, as well as the right to obtain a copy of it.

To exercise them, write to contact@insight-tech.tech stating your request. We reply within 30 days. No supporting document will be asked of you if the request comes from the email address you gave us.

If the answer does not satisfy you, you may refer the matter to the competent data protection authority: the competent authority for the country of establishment — in Côte d'Ivoire, the ARTCI; to be confirmed by your counsel.

10. Changes

This policy may change, in particular if new processing is introduced. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page. In the event of a substantial change, a notice will be placed on the home page.
